Get ready for an unforgettable dolphin experience where these naturally curious dolphins are free to interact with you at their own pace!
During the encounter, your trainer will introduce you to the dolphins and share fascinating information about their characteristics, anatomy, and behaviors. You’ll have the opportunity to touch, kiss, and play with one of these friendly marine mammals while enjoying wonderful photo opportunities. Professional photographs will also be taken throughout your experience so you can capture special moments with your new dolphin friends.
Following the encounter, enjoy approximately 30 minutes of snorkeling with a limited number of fellow participants and more than a dozen resident dolphins within the enclosure. This unique snorkel session offers excellent opportunities for close interaction with the dolphins. If the dolphins choose not to interact, they have access to a private area within the two-acre enclosure.
Furthermore, you will tour a chocolate factory to learn about the production process and sample a variety of chocolates. You will also visit a rum factory to taste rum cakes and different types of rums.
Snorkeling gear is not included. Guests may bring their own equipment or rent gear on-site for $9.00 USD.

Initially, we'll greet you right from your cruise ship port, whether that's at Isla Tropicale Port or Town Center Coxen Hole. Our team will be there outside the gate to greet you and assist you with your pickup.
Hotel Guests
If you are visiting and staying at a hotel or resort on Roatán, we have you covered.
We will pick you up directly from your hotel’s lobby or any location you may be on the island. It is very easy and hassle-free. Our packages are also customized for your convenience.
DROP OFF
Following your excursion, we will return you to the port with ample time before your cruise departs. We will leave you inside the port and ensure everything is in order before bidding farewell. Our aim is to provide a seamless and stress-free return, allowing you to relax and enjoy your journey.

If you arrive at Isla Tropicale Port via a cruise ship, please exit the port through the main gate. Once you are outside the port, take a left and walk past the taxis. Continue walking toward the designated meeting area and look for our friendly staff holding a DD Roatán Tour sign. Our meeting point is approximately a 5-minute walk from the port.
If your cruise ship docks at the Town Center Port in Coxen Hole, it will take around 5 minutes to walk to the exit gate. Our dedicated staff will be positioned just outside Gate Number 1. Please look for the DD Roatán Tour sign. Upon your arrival, we respectfully request that you reach out to us within 30–45 minutes after disembarking from the ship. Yes. If you are staying at a hotel or resort in Roatán, we pick you up at your hotel lobby or an agreed pickup location and return you there after your excursion.
After your excursion we return you to the port with ample time before your cruise departs, and we leave you inside the port.
If your cruise ship is unable to dock in Roatan, you get a full refund. If it arrives late, we can generally reschedule your tour for the same day. When rescheduling is not possible (for example, with dolphin encounters), you may be eligible for a partial refund.
You get a full refund if you cancel by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are not refunded, and guests who do not arrive at the meeting point within one hour without notice are considered a no-show. You secure your booking with a 35% deposit, paid by credit card, debit card or PayPal. The remaining balance is due upon arrival in Roatán.
Children 4 and under do not pay; children over 4 count as participants. Each booking is for a minimum of 2 participants.
